For the Old Flag, by C. R. Fenn (Sampson Low,

Moreton, and Co., 5s.), is a story of the Mutiny. The hero, who is under orders to go to England, as being too young to take part in the affairs of the time, makes a little expedition on his own account, and meets with some exciting adventures. The tale is not put together as well as it might be, but is quite readable.
