Nothing has given us more satisfaction in the last few
months than" the Report of the Committee on rnernPloyment Instil:mice which Was published last week. The Committee was presided over by Lord Blanesburgh and included, members of all political shades of thought. It is remarkable that a Committee so constituted should have produced a unanimous Report. The fact that it has done so is one of the most encouraging signs of Jo-day. Naturally the spirit of comproniise was needed for unanimity, but the fact that the spirit was present proves that there is good reason to hope fur the spread of tolerance and constructive eu-operation throughout . the .whole of our industries: The British character, in this corner at least, is coming to the rescue once more.
