Sin,—While thanking you for your sympathetic notice of the first two volumes of the supplement to the "Dictionary of National Biography" in the Spectator of September 21st, I feel it needful to ask you to correct your reviewer's error in regard to the authorship of the memoir of the late Archbishop Benson. That article is by Canon Mason, and nOt by the writer to whom it is assigned in your columns. The third and concluding volume of the supplement to the Dictionary, to which your review refers, will be published on October 25th. —I am, Sir, &e.,
