A New Cohipetition

THE counting of the votes given by those who took part in our last Competition will take some time, and it will not be pos‘sible to publish the result until June lkth. Meanwhile the Editor has the pleasure of Offering a prize of £5 for the best suggeitions, written on the back of a postcard, as to what to do- " if I had £50,000 to give away." The Rev. R. V. it. Burne, who has suggested this Competition, writes :— " One has often been struck by the curious use that millionaires make of their surplus money, and has thought that one could have made better use of it, given the opportunity. But on thinking it out, one begins to see how very difficult it is to give away money on' a large scale Without doing harm to the recipients. Your millionaire readers, might,, perhaps, welcome the hints that the Competition would afford !
