A small boy said to his mother, "My soldiers were
awfully smashed in the last battle and looked dreadful. But it's alt right now. I put one away and changed the places of almost all the others when I put them up. Now they look quite different, and nobody, I don't believe, would ever think they'd been hurt." Mr. Asquith, we feel sure, will be greatly impressed by this story.
