The Republic of Mexico : its Agriculture, Commerce and Industries.
Compiled and Edited by Hermann Schnitzler. (Hutchinson. 25s.)—This is a book for reference rather than for reading. It is " a Handbook of Information " belonging to the library of Latin-American information. The publisher's advertisement tells us that everything Mexican " relating to agricultural, mineral, or industrial production is fully explained, all places of interest to the tourist are fully indicated." There is an excellent index, a large coloured map of the Republic, and an alphabetical list of the archaeological ruins existing in Mexican territory, their names, location, features and etymological significance. We can recommend this book to travellers.
