Sin,—Your correspondent, Mr.- B. B. Williams, would. I am sure, be doing a service to many of your readers if he would say what, in his opinion, constitutes an " improved " public house, and how it is that brewers (who, naturally, would like to increase their revenue from beer-drinking), support a move- ment which, on his showing, would tend to decrease the sales of intoxicants.—I am, Sir, &c., F.
