It is an educative organising body, not a selling agency ; but the advertisement columns of its periodical contain satisfactory evidence of the widespread vitality of the crafts. Anyone who

wishes to possess or to give things that have the value which belongs exclusively to personal work, is given there a wide range of choice. Hereditary, as well as new-old, patterns and designs have been spread abroad throughout the counties, especially among the blacksmiths.
